Counseling News!


Rancho Buena Vista High School is hosting College and Financial Aid Night on October 3, 2017. The event will begin in the Lecture Hall (room 239) at 5:30 pm. Information will be presented on Community Colleges, California State University, University of California (UC), and Private schools including the application process, dates/timelines, admissions process, testing information, and much more. Additionally, your RBV Counselors will be sharing vital information pertaining to your college application process, Naviance, upcoming events, letters of recommendation, and transcripts.



Starting with the class of 2019, only Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses will receive a weighted grade bump when calculating the weighted grade point average. VUSD is also eliminating the identification and display of class rank on high school transcripts.
